Tenants few month old baby has a regular older woman babysitter and baby is screeching a long time.

Would you message the mother?

And is this a regular babysitter? Does the baby always cry like this when she is watching?

Yes of course, what are you waiting for? I'd actually go knock on the door myself and see what's going on.

Knock on the door and ask if there's anything you can do to help. Later tell the mother.

This. Wellness check on baby and babysitter.

If my neighbor heard my baby screaming for an extended amount of time, I'd want to be checked on... maybe I'm hurt.

Please call the mother. I once left my newborn by a babysitter. She was there for 45 minutes and crying the whole time. The babysitter told me that she didn't hold her because she didn't calm down when she held her and that it's just behavioral. A newborn Hashem Yeracheim!

I would go knock on the door and check in.
And text the mother after.

Yes yes yes yes. I would be so appreciative if this was my baby, whether or not something was actually going wrong.

OP asked for advice on what to do. Her intention was not to publish a serial about her tenant, her tenants baby and the babysitter.

She asked for advice. She was given advice. The nice thing to do is to say how the situation was resolved without going in to details. Otherwise, it's just taking advantage of people.

We are allowed to want to know. It's human nature to be curious. Op asked for advice and we all tried to help and were worried about the baby. She doesn't HAVE to say how the situation resolved but it would be nice...

It's the way she responded 'won't say how'. There's a nicer way of saying you can't share after a bunch of women took the time to respond to your post.
