My 70+ yr old grandmother is coming into Brooklyn today to look for a gown for an einekel's wedding.
She has an appt by Find's.
She is ready to spend.
Where else can she go look?
She needs a ready piece as she's from out of town (obviously she'll do alterations just won't sew up)

I'm sure she'll find. My experience with this age bracket is that it has to be comfortable. What I did for my mother was order an Alex evening wear gown from Amazon. Many of them come with a jacket with a dress underneath .They are very very long and my mom is 5'6 so my mom took it to seamstresses and had it lifted so it was tznius.
