My DS has been using a briefcase with a standard strap/rectangular holds your tefilin, couple of seforim type bag for a few years now. It’s more of a nice tefilin/talis bag.
He needs to carry food with him now, we’re addressing a possible allergy. He needs an all black backpack.
black hat, yeshivish.
Is there such a thing as an in style backpack for mesivta age boys? TIA

"In style" isn't going to be all black. Yeshiva bocherim aren't fashionistas.Established national brands like Eastpak and Jansport (there are plenty of others but these are the ones I have) always have some styles in basic black. Any good-sized sports equipment store should have a selection or be able to special order for you. Or you can Google "day pack backpacks" yourself and order one in black.

If all else fails, the magical black Sharpie can be used to hide any unapproved logos or decorations on an otherwise black bag.
