Really not recommended to put a blanket in a crib for a baby.

I bought a warm sleep sack on Amazon. Best thing ever. A blanket won’t stay on

I hope the baby is a toddler. For babies a sleep sack is all they need

If the baby is under one, do a very warm sleep sack instead. I like sleep sacks better than blankets because of safety (SIDS is terrifying) but also because my babies kick their blankets off in their sleep so sleep sacks actually keep them warm a lot better than a blanket would.

I like this one - Hudson Baby Unisex Baby Plush Sleeping Bag, Sack, Blanket, Pink Clouds, 12-18 Months https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N.....ss_tl

Bumping for OP. I have the same question about my one and a half year old. Still using a sleep sack for now but would want to switch to linen sometime soon.

I was happy with the crib size ikea duvet and covers. However, most of my kids didn't keep the blanket on at night. I recently went back to the sleep sack for my toddler and give a soft blanket for comfort.

Any suggestions, my 5 month old likes the feel of something cozy on his cheek? Sleep sak doesn’t provide that

my big 20 mo always sleeps on his blanket and he's cold. I'm at a loss but no way will he go in a sleep sack. he's so active, it would be abusive.
any ideas welcome. I would give him two blankets but I'm scared it's unsafe.

You want a lovey, it's like a blanket but only like 4 inches square.
