Chili
1 pound ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped (about 1 cup)
1 cup chopped green bell peppers
1 clove garlic, minced
28 ounces tomatoes (diced)
8 ounces tomato sauce (1 cup)
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt (or more; salt to taste)
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons freshly ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne red pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
15.5 ounce can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Cook and stir beef, onions, garlic, and green peppers in a skillet or stock pot until meat is brown. If not using extra lean beef, drain grease.
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 45 minutes.
Serve hot in baked tortilla bowls, garnished with cubes of avocado and a sprinkle of parsley.

This is the best I make all the time
https://www.thewholesomedish.c.....hili/
I don’t like kidney beans I put in one can black beans and one can navy beans rinsed
I also sauté a jalapeño pepper or green pepper after the onions before searing the beef for extra color and veg.
Also I do coconut sugar for the brown- can’t tell the difference
