I started shopping in Aldi a few months ago and it has been a huge money saver for us bh. I have my regular items but I would love to hear what other people buy there that they find to be kdai or specific products people really like from there.

I started shopping there too and get so much for so much cheaper than other stores. I can walk out with a full cart for under $150! If you don't keep cholov yisroel then they have really good prices on many dairy products). Things I buy there are:

Produce (so much cheaper than the large Jewish supermarkets!)
Peeled garlic cubes
Bread
Bagels
Muffins
Ready made pizza crust
Ready made pizza dough
Lox
Some cereals (though my kids won't eat all the knockoffs)
Oatmeal packets
Rolled oats
Crackers
Snacks (like individual bags of bear crackers, oatmeal cookies...)
Pretzels
Pickles
Mustard
Pasta
Milk
Almond milk (they have pareve ones)
Iced coffee
Yogurt
Cream cheese
Whipped cream
Chocolate milk
Orange juice
Hummus
Frozen waffles
Frozen pancakes
Frozen blueberries
Ice cream
Ices
Frozen pie crusts
French fries
Ziplock bags (I get the cheap ones there too use for things like marinating chicken, tossing vegetables with spices before roasting etc , and save the more expensive, good quality ones for storing things in the freezer)

I'm sure there's more but these are the things I buy regularly enough that I thought of them off the top of my head.

Yes, definitely have to check labels regularly. I used to buy soy sauce there but it no longer has a hechsher.

My kids like the sliced sourdough bread. They have lots of different bread options with hechsher. I do hate that the hechsherim go on and off so often.

You’re so lucky you can buy so much there! In the UK we can’t- or I don’t think so, unless others can share otherwise?

Most of your list would not work for those who keep CY and pas Yisroel.

I usually just get produce and some household products but what’s the deal with the salmon? I saw frum people buying it without hashgacha. Is that supposed to be ok? I guess I’ll have to ask.

Raw salmon with no added ingredients is always kosher per kashrus agencies. Some people rinse it in case there was other fish residue when it was cut.

I was told by the Star-K that the salmon there is fine. It's fresh and way cheaper than other places!
Not sure if it varies by location tho
