Would you leave a responsible sick 13 year old home alone during the day for 4 hours? Said 13 year old babysits so is left at home all the time. Fever and a headache no other symptoms seems to be a virus. Has a phone right near them.

Yes I have left my 12.5 year old and 11 year old home when they aren't feeling well. I check in with them and I work 10 minutes away.

If they are not too sick and are able care of themselves. If they are too sick to get out of bed for a drink or food , or need assistance because of vomiting or dizziness , then it’s not a good idea.
