When I was in school we had a fun activity day where we learned to make ice cream in a bag. In one bag, the ingredients for ice cream. In a second, larger bag, ice and salt to go over-top the smaller bag where you form the ice cream by shaking them together.
Well when I got home I wanted to retry it so I could eat ice cream for dessert that night… except I forgot to separate the ingredients in two bags and instead added all of them into one. Yuck!

I put cayenne pepper into my cholent instead of paprika powder.
My husband ate it and his mouth started burning...the burn stayed for a while

My husband still brings up lovingly the fact that when we were engaged I went to his parents house for Thanksgiving. I offered to make my signature dish...which was a can of greenbeans and ketchup. I didn't even think it was weird. CRINGE
