Frontier airlines recent experience- Phili to Miami

Anyone had issues with them? Do they cancel a lot? How bad are the seats?

We did it pesach time and it wasn’t so bad. No cancelled flights.

Did they seat your family all over the plane? How uncomfortable are the seats, and is there Wi-Fi and drinks? Thanks!

We paid for seats together. I think they offfically have a rule that if you travel with minors they for sure sit with at least one parent but not sure.
Seats were fine, nothing special but I don’t recall had. I don’t remember if there was WiFi, I think they had drinks.

They don't have free WiFi or drinks. You get what you pay for. I don't think they cancel flights more often than other airlines, but when they do cancel they may not put you on another flight for a few days, which is not the case with standard airlines. Also the other passengers tend to be a little less mannered in general. That said, I do fly frontier when the price difference is significant, but I don't enjoy it.

I’ve done that flight more times than I could count
I’ve usually been happy
You never know if you’ll land up with a nasty flight attendant or if they’ll switch your seats away from your kids but on the whole it’s been good experiences

We showed up 1.5 hrs before our flight and didn’t check in earlier. (We had a hard time checking in on our phones and figured we would do it at airport)
When we got to the check in counter -
They said we have no seat and we checked in too late. No refund or anything!

The thing with frontier is that when it works out, it’s great but when it doesn’t work out you want to bang your head against the wall because it’s so frustrating.
We had one flight that didn’t work out and is something we won’t forget. Other times it was fine.

Fine. Only "problem" was when they changed the gate. But it was nearby, so no big deal.
