I filled out an application for Camp Malka and it says $1000 deposit in order to consider your application. Does that mean they won't charge credit card unless we're accepted, or is that the processing fee regardless?
Another camp is more clear and says they will only charge the deposit upon acceptance and you have x days to cancel, but $150 of that deposit in not returnable. This makes sense to me.
Does anyone know about Camp Malka?

No that can’t be the processing fee. Camps will typically only put the charge through once you’re accepted.
