I am in the NY area. I am hosting a simple shabbos bar mitzvah in the early spring. I have been pricing things out for a simple family centerpeice. Nothing big or elaborate. I was given a price that I consider astronomical. However, I am clueless on flower prices. And such, I am hoping you can help clue me in as to whether or not my price was too high.
Simple flowers. Arrangements for 8 tables. Like I said, simple flowers.
But even if you got elaborate, a heads up on that price is helpful too.

About $150 per table.
Edited to add, the centerpieces were nice and tall, not sure if you consider that elaborate. I thought they were very elegant but I'm not a big maven on flowers. Also it depends what type of flowers you use, some are way more expensive than others.

Zero.
I did floating candles with glitter in glass bowls instead. It cost about $15.
Saved over $1000.
