I’m overwhelmed with gratitude to Hashem this Chanukah.
Last year at the Menorah, I hoped and prayed so hard that this year Chanukah I should hold my baby with the gender I was desperate for, healthy and perfect.
(I don’t struggle with infertility but have many other things that makes this a big deal).
It felt like such wishful thinking, but here I am, holding my newborn, in front of the Menorah!
Thank you Hashem 😭! My heart is filled with love.
I wish you all the same happiness coming as your wishes get fulfilled Amen. Especially to those waiting to hold that baby, next year beh!

this gave me chills. it's also something I prayed for intensely last year. I'm not pregnant and I'm not ready to be but I still prayed hard and continue to pray hard this year that when the time comes my tefilla should be answered. your post gave me chizzuk. thanks for sharing. so beautiful.
