Have a family simcha coming up and want to make a manicure appointment and found out I'm pregnant bh! Where can I go for a manicure that I can count on them being careful when disposing of nails and not having it all over the floor? I'm located in Lakewood

maybe see if theres someone that come to you...

or someone who does it in their home and not a salon.

personally I wasnt makpid but my sister in law who was would only do the above.

If you feel comfortable, you can ask them to sweep when you come in but you might get weird questions (btdt). If they're not in the original spot they fell, it's not an issue
Or you can get the first appointment of the day

Take the first morning appointment so the floor was already swept from the night before.
You can have them sweep for good measure ( every salon heard this before dw)
Watch where you step
Shira salon by gourmet glatt south is very familiar with this. They say they don’t drop nails on the floor but ask them

Nails by Rochie is a frum woman who does it in her home and she’s very good. I think she has an Instagram page

Is there a way around this?? I feel like when I’m expecting is the time to go get a mani pedi! No pressure to take it off for Mikvah..

The reason to be makpid is the tumah that comes from it, so shoes don’t make a difference
