If they don't go to BMG they usually go to places in Flatbush or Monsey. For that age OOT Ner Yisrael is the only place that comes to mind. Maybe if a bochur was in a certain OOT yeshiva and was close to his Rebbeim there, he might go back, but even that's unusual, and certainly not if he was never there before. In Brooklyn you have Chaim Berlin, Torah V'Daas, and Beis Yosef (Drillman's), but if he was never in the first two before, Beis Yosef would probably be his best option.

I dont know much about it, but I think theres a place on Joe parker or at least it used to be there called "bergers". I think its post Israel and drop less yeshivish.

I asked my son tonight about the post Israel boys in Ner Yisroel since previous years seemed to fluctuate a decade or two ago as to which bochurim felt comfortable there. He said there are a few chevras and there definitely is a significant presence of yeshivish bochurim now.
