In pain because I do not have typical interests and was forced to talk for the sake of talking when younger. I was bashed for not sharing my interests because I knew I would be looked upon like an alien from outer space if I discussed it. I was pushed against my instincts back then.
And I was right. I got insulted here anyway.

Was it my post that insulted you? I am terribly sorry that it came out that way.
It amused me; not in a insulting way Ch"v, just out of ignrance- as in I felt kind of dumb trying to figure it out:)
I admire people that have different interests and pursue them!

Is it possible to get all the fruits without visiting friends islands? My kids have this game and I don't allow their switch to be connected to wifi. We tried visiting other islands by plane and by boat but no luck yet... they have 2 fruits + palm trees. Do we just keep trying to visit other places with nook miles or are there any hacks?

Please don’t feel pain for being a gamer. This thread made me very nostalgic. I won’t get a switch because I know my productivity will go down to bare minimum (I actually downloaded the free Pocket Camp for a while and had to delete because even the mini version did exactly that). But glimpses of Mario and Zelda and Kirby still gives me the fuzzies. I actually find it fun and hilarious to have an obscure interest most people don’t get.

Sadly no. If you know someone in real life who has them you can do it by local play.
