was a novel for teens that I read many times and really enjoyed but can't remember the name.
the cover was a redheaded girl with a big mansion in the background.
was about 2 sisters that were fostered out and they got split up. the older one went to a huge mansion with all that comes along with that but she's miserable because of her sister that's staying with a large poor family...

I actually thought it was that author, but couldn’t find it under her name (CB Weinfeld). Seems like she used her full name in those days!
