Do you take family vacations (flying) or stay home for vacations?

What does being yeshivish have to do with going on vacation?
If I had money, I would go on vacation...

As with most things in life blanket statements don't really work.

We'd fly to EY in a heartbeat, to Florida on the other hand probably not...

Yeshivish people who stick to yeshivish haskafos would vacation anywhere with a minyan. Being said that, because of shmiras einayim, most would avoid beach towns. It's more popular to go to scenic mild weather places and places with history.

Airbnbs are very popular to get a private pool and avoid walking around with other untznius guests.

Like others mentioned- We would not go to a beach town. or if its summertime, a place that would likely have a lot of pritzus and untznius mode of dress.
Also, minyan is non negotiable.

As long as there is a minyan, kosher food with a good hechsher and areas that aren't completely naked like a beach, yes.

My friends with relatives in florida go and see their parents, sibling, cousins etc. Its not the same style of vacation as going to be tourists.

Yes, I'm yeshivish.
We fly to visit family members or for Yom Tov.
I hope that we'll be able to fly to my nephew's bar mitzvah in EY too.
Personally, we have never flown for fun to a random destination.

People who are very yeshivish usually have less $$$ and more 🧒 🧒 🧒, so that is why they do less flying vacations.

Wow this is new to me! I never knew its a thing for yeshivish people not to vacation.
In England where I'm from the yeshivish people go on a summer holiday, some with a minyan some without. I never heard of not travelling b'shita.
It's always great to learn new things!

Florida is a huge state. You don't have to go to a beach city. Sheesh.

When I went to Florida I only saw people 55+ 😂 pretty much. We went to the beach a few times at 6am and watched the sunrise. Was maybe five people there's jogging or taking couple walks, all dressed in ways I'd see people dress in Yerushalayim.
