Can anyone help me out?
A girlfriend of mine bought a Betty Crocker imitation pizza maker and is very happy.
Does anyone have an opinion? Original vs imitation? Are the bells and whistles worth it?

I have an imitation. I forgot the name, but something with a V; I bought it on Amazon. I have only used it about 5 times or so, but it seems to deliver everything the Betty Crocker is supposed to deliver.

Betty Crockers are pretty cheap now, especially if you’re in NY and can get to Bingo. Occasional they’re marked down to $19.99.

My local Jewish store sells them for 100$ +

100? That's crazy! Regular price it's around $40! I usually wait for bingo $19.99 sale.

I have both the imitation and the betty crocker company. I actually like the imitation company better! Mine is the Rise company and it can open to a 180 degree angle instead of just 90 degrees. This lets me use both sides at the same time for things like eggs. It also has a better handle so I don't have to nearly burn myself every time I open it. It does not have a longer cord (which it should) though.
