A pasta with a creamy sauce and too many cheeses to remember. That’s Rich.
A brownie with 1 part rest of ingredients, 2 parts melted chocolate. That’s Rich

An elevator that opened directly onto their condo

"Oh this apartment (in the same luxury building) is just for when my in laws come to stay"

The building has a name, and is known by that name

They had a day nanny and a night nanny

I forgot the rest!! Will post if I remember.

Getting rid of a nice sofa because they are bored of it after a few months.

(I got lucky and bought it for 400 shekel. No clue why they wanted the money though lol. It probably cost 5k as did the new one.

I met a distant cousin when I was 9 and she took me to her home . She first showed me her bedroom and it was the size of my own house . She took me into her closet which was a room and she had 30 bathing suits for me to choose one to borrow .

Then she took me into a room adjacent to hers. It looked like a stunning living room with grey plush carpets and couches and pink ballet slippers and tutus hanging as decor . There were massive framed photos of grey cats and kittens wearing ballet slippers etc. she then told me that’s her “kitty’s room”.
It was my dream living room all for her little kitty.

When large groups go out to eat and You see pictures of the food they are eating and you calculate thousands of dollars, and you just know they aren’t even checking prices.
That makes me think, they must have a lot of money to spend

Now *that* is indeed a deal in a life time! Smile
I know of a 2nd hand consignment shop where Israel's very rich women drop their staff to be resold. They don't get tons of money but even rich ladies like to get something for their stuff as opposed to give it to the cleaning lady. It's about the feeling of selling it and not being a 'freier' so to speak.

Such a fun topic!
Entire family, grandparents children and grandchildren going to hotel for sukkos or Pasech.
I would just like to hear from them how they go from their big home to a small hotel room for an entire week.

When they give away very expensive items like it’s no big deal. Like “oh those earrings look so much better on you, keep them!” Or when I try to pay them back for something, and they’re just like “oh, whatever, don’t worry about it, I don’t even remember how much it was”

When you don't work, but also don't do any childcare or housework because you have a nanny, cleaner, cook, etc. And then spend the day shopping and attending "parlor meetings". I grew up in an area where this was common and knew a lot of families like this. My parents were well off, but not at that level.
