Can anyone recommend someone to help a young adult who is still in Yeshiva and desperately needs help with social skills. No one has been able to help in the past, but hoping for some suggestions. High functioning individual but sabotaging his own life by not having social skills he really needs.

Moshe Trainer is trained as a speech therapist and dealt a lot with social issues.

does he by any chance take insurance? did you use him for someone this "old"? or do you know someone that did?

Not sure about insurance, definitely not jerseycare. Best calling his office and asking. Yes, he works with teens and adults. I know someone who looked into him for shidduch guidance, someone who used him for a teen and he sees a full range of adults too

Does he see patients himself? I don't want any random clinician, I'd want the best. How does this work exactly? Thanks

OP, how did any of your query work out? I'm also looking (for an even older client..) for Brooklyn service, though willing to pay any price that would be worthwhile even for provider to travel in...

I second Devora Himy. She has a great evaluation to see where the issue stems from and a very smart course of treatment where you see the progress each week.
