Can you taste food in your mind? Can you read a recipe and imagine exactly how its going to taste and know if its going to taste good or not and be right?
I've recently developed this ability and I'm curious if anyone else can do it too.

I can and always have been able to
Mostly I use it for being able to tell how my body will react to certain foods. When I’m sick, pregnant or PMSing I’m more limited in what I can eat and if I think about a certain dish/food my stomach will immediately start reacting as if I just ate it

That's really cool! Must make reading cookbooks a fun experience.
