I noticed that some of the new shower heads have a "water saving" feature that really cuts the pressure and if you take that little piece out the pressure is much better.
That said, I can't really recommend a brand, sorry.

Million dollar question. I've been looking for years and never found one with the fantastic high pressure of my 1970 shower head.

Yup. This is what I was going to say. I don’t know how to do it because my husband did ours but you can probably find a video on YouTube. It makes such a difference! I don’t have a suggestion either though. I have no idea what brand ours is and it’s probably on the lower-cost end….

It was likely your pipes and actual home water pressure, not the shower head.

I just take out the valve that restricts flow. I don’t have a recommendation, but if you find a good one, do that and it will be great! I love my shower head.

I remember being in a motel and loving the pressure of the shower head.

I think Obama passed regulation for one of his environmental policies to save water and that’s why newer ones are less strong than older
