I’ve been researching for a couple months. Still going in circles!
Bite bullet and get a crazy expensive one from someone like Yafi Kaminer or order cheapy from China. No answers sorry.

Which one of the expensive ones is better?
I don’t mind them but I also don’t want a lemon or someone who would just ignore me if I have a problem because they are too rich anyway.

Tell her what you want and your budget she will get you the best.
If you have problems she will fix/swap it for a year.
If the brand causes problems she'll advocate for you

I can't speak for any other Israeli brand but I have two Yafi Kaminer wigs that I am obsessed with (one for every day and one for Shabbos). I have never felt hair so soft before, I could touch the hair all day. Giti and her sister work for Yafi and are amazing and so helpful.

I got a new high end wig from tagless wig for half the price of what it would have been from the source. It was still a lot of money but cheaper. I would go back there.
You will have to be very vocal to make sure they do the changes you want on the wig.

There are some nice cheaper brands as well.
People have been very happy with Gigi and her service is very good. I've never bought from her but I've heard of many happy clients. I use her for wash and sets and she's an absolute pleasure to deal with.
