Thank you for any help!
In Yerushalayim area:
1. If a baby needs a dermatologist is there one to make appt at meuchedet? And/ or any recommendation soft pediatric dermatologist ?

2. Apparently do we saw two pediatricians we can't see another one through the Kupa. There are two on record. Is there a way to switch one out? As one of them we don't want to go back to

3. Are there private pediatricians with good bedside manner and what costs would be fi so? Any Recs? And any with a natural leaning at all ?

Also you might want to post in the morning when even someone who isn't up feeding a baby will see.

Dr. Goldenhersh on Kanfey Nesharim is great (he sees kid and adults) but appointments can be far out at times
The seeing 2 of each doctor is for every 3 months

Thank you for this info! Is on the insurance plan or private? And does a specialist count as one of the doctors? Also is there any way to change a doctor before the three month period?

Dr Leona Fisher is also a great dermatologist. You can make an appointment through the Meuhedet app.

They might have changed it to only one doctor but im not sure it could be 2. There is no way to switch the 2 doctors before the end of the quarter. You just have to wait the 3 months.
One time I saw a doctor on the 1st day of the quarter and then they weren't around so I was only able to see one doctor the rest of that quarter.
There are sometimes doctors that will agree to be a 3rd doctor but it's in a case of an emergency and the manager of the clinic needs to approve it so don't count on it.

You can't officially change doctors but in my kupat they can't stop you from booking an appointment for another doctor.

If you are sick for example and your doctor only has appointments in 3 days, they will not let you see whoever has an open appointment that day?

The reason they give you issues is when you see more doctors per quarter they receive less money.

But I have seen 3 family doctors this month already. One who was not helpful with an issue, a second for said issue who was more helpful with a refferal, and a third because I got sick a few days ago and that's who was available that day.

You can see specialist not counted as the Dr on your case but only 1 Dr in the specialised area e.g one family Dr, one dermatologist, one ENT.

I think online it's easier to book an appointment with a 2nd Dr without causing problems

I don't think Dr. Goldenhersh takes insurance anymore. You might want to double check that.

Did you first go to your regular pediatrician with the baby's skin issue? If it's stubborn excema or the like (I can't believe I'm saying this, I'm so not into natural) your best route might be with alternative treatments.

1. If a baby needs a dermatologist is there one to make appt at meuchedet? And/ or any recommendation soft pediatric dermatologist ? Yes, but the waiting time can be long. If it's something complicated, you can ask for a referral to an external clinic or to outpatients in Ein Kerem.

2. Apparently do we saw two pediatricians we can't see another one through the Kupa. There are two on record. Is there a way to switch one out? As one of them we don't want to go back to You don't need to switch anything, just when you make the appointment, make sure to specify which doctor you want. Also, if that doctor is unavailable that day, they'll usually let you see someone else.

3. Are there private pediatricians with good bedside manner and what costs would be fi so? Any Recs? And any with a natural leaning at all ? There are 2 types of private pediatricians. 1. with a heskem with the kupa 2. without. There are private clinics who you can go to on the kupa and it's free as long as you haven't used a different kupa doctor that quarter. Dr Argov in Ramot Gimmel is excellent and will treat you on the kupa. Fully private pediatricians normally take about 200 shekel per visit.

Changing you doctor within the quarter can be done but there is a fee, I think 180 shekel.

He used to take Meuhedet and Macabi (saying used to because I lived in Israel 6 years ago and don’t know if anything changed ).
You can see one of each type of specialist a rivoon . No doctor likes it when you see a second one because it cuts their pay in half but most doctors will still let you see them. And if you get a heter from kupah to see a third one they are basically agreeing to see you for free.

My pediatrician has dealt with a lot of skin issues for my DD. I would check with your pediatrician before you run to a dermatologist.

Within the same clinic there are heskemim that they cover for each other and it isn't considered a third doctor.

Once you see a third doctor in a different clinic, the doctor needs to agree, and you are asking them to see you as a favour, because they won't get paid for it.

You can see two family doctors in the same quarter, and one of each kind of specialist. You can see as many specialists in different fields as necessary - hopefully you don't need too many!

In 3 different clinics. I made an appointment for the second doctor through the branch and the third through the moked. Nobody called me up telling me the doctor needs to agree and no one mentioned it to me.

I feel bad if doctors aren't be paid but all three of them were a legitimate need....

It could be a legitimate need but your choices are : go to terem or Haturim where you can see a doctor at any time, wait 3 months. It’s not really fair to doctors to pressure them into seeing you for free.

I didn't pressure anybody, I booked appointments easily without even arguing with anybody. Nobody told me that this was an issue.

Right the kupah won’t tell you but typically when the doctor tries to swipe your card as the thing doctor then they will ask you if you can go back to one of the first 2.
(I used to work as a medical secretary).
