Can someone recommend a good over the counter retinol? One that can also be used under the eyes or one specifically for under the eyes. I am overwhelmed by the choices. My dermatologist sells her own brand but it is super expensive.

I just bought retinol from the company called Naturium. I heard it has clean ingredients and is effective. Didn't use it long enough yet to see results.

Differin adapalene 0.1 is great for beginners and also targets acne
Tretinoin is stronger than retinol and much more effective

I understand that. I am looking for a good retinol anti aging product.

If you're looking for anti aging start with tretinoin 0.25
Retinol is not nearly much as effective.
(They are both derivatives of Retin A)
As per Dr Dray

If I wanted to use tretinoin I would. I do not. I am looking specifically for a Retinol product.

Bakuchiol is a natural alternative to retinol which can be used during pregnancy
Benzoyl peroxide is good for acne too

Azelaic acid worked really well for me during pregnancy.
Vitamin c is also great.

I used a pharmacy brand retinol face cream and it was too strong for my eye area and the area around my eyes got all itchy red and puffy
I have been scared since but I would luv an anti aging eye cream suggestion for sensitive eyes
Please use it carefully

Yes, and there is evidence that retinol around the eyes can cause Dry Eye. I ended up choosing Avene Retrinal Eye Cream. It is especially formulated to be safe around the eyes and it is more effective than retinol, safer than Retin A around the eye. I am starting at .05%.
