Kah I already have a few kids and allll the toys.

Looking for a large gift for myself:
-expensive like something I wouldn't buy for myself. 100+
-ideally not tons of little pieces. I'm sick of pieces. I don't want more mitzvah kinder or magnatiles or lego or playmobil
-I dont have a backyard or a basement
-from a jewish / Judaica store

I'm thinking a set of expensive books like the midrash says but that's all I can come up with.

Any other good ideas?

I don't knowhow many women with multiple children like to get children's toys as gifts for themselves, but to each her own. 😂 Sorry, the way this was written sounds funny.

Books are always a good idea. I would go with that.

If you have younger kids, tell me the story of the parsha is amazing!

I’m so confused. How is it a gift for yourself if it’s a toy?

How is this a point of confusion.

Someone has offered to buy her a gift they gift is either earmarked for her child, or she feels she doesn’t want a gift for herself and wants it for the children. It is for her home/family, not a specific 6 yo and it can be of her (not a child or the gift givers choice). I would think of it as a gift for me as well. Nothing wrong with her phasing.
(and the right toy, is definitely a gift for her, it gives her quiet time for herself, it’s worth it’s weight in gold)

ping pong table
trampoline
swing set
play house
doll house with people

Judaic stores have books for kids but you mentioned that already; I don't think they sell much else for kids....

They also have a craft box and a bake box option
My kids are dying for it but I can’t justify the expense when I can just get all of that on my own time for probably cheaper. But as a gift I can see it being really exciting.

My younger kids like the Mitzvah Kinder books and the older ones like the Yiddishe Kop and Kichels book. Or how about the Kichels games?

We were also offered a nice gift for the family. We asked for the Naki radio. Best gift ever. Great for a variety of ages. Sometimes it's used more and sometimes less, but my kids 5-12 all enjoy it (and I do too!).

If you specifically want Judaica/book store, any set of books. Depending on age and gender of children, can be a set of Parsha/chagim/navi/encyclopedia.

Enjoy it!!

Op came back to clarify 20 minutes after I questioned it, at which point you jumped on the bandwagon too. Seeing as I wasn’t the only confused one it was most definitely a confusing question. A clearer question would have been: a relative wants to give my children a present valued at around $100 ;they asked me if I have ideas or suggestions but I’m stumped. Any ideas?

In any case, OP do your kids have bikes ?
