My baby is 12 weeks and very constipated. Can I give her prune juice or is she too young?

My pediatrician says juice is ok from 2 months, but only 1-2 oz (start with 1). She recommended prune or carrot juice. Also there are exercises you can do to help things along, Google it.

Take her temperature with a rectal thermometer (it's called rectal stimulation).

Try a sugar water bottle
2 oz of water with 1/2 t brown sugar dissolved in it
Babies like it because it’s sweet and it almost always works within a couple hours

If your not nursing, try switching to Dr Brown’s bottles for a little bit. That’s what helped us bH
