Due to a request, I opened an AMA thread. Apparently my topic wasn’t interesting. I guess people enjoy threads with no point and go nowhere.

)...treat ama threads like a library, only choose the ones you want!

Me too, I find them tedious. Especially when the AMA OP decides not to answer everything….

The last time we had this (pre-October 7) I started a AYA thread which was a nice change IMO.

October 7 shut all these threads off but it seems like they are back with vengeance and I pray it won’t another disastrous tragedy cv”s to stop them but instead they die down naturally….

Some of them are interesting/entertaining. Some have great juicy debates (like the anti-babysitter thread) that are a lot of fun to follow/get involved in. But some are just like...why? Maybe that's what I'll ask since it's AMA Smile

I like the ones that are about specific topics that people find interesting to learn about.most of the wacky ones I don't get the point.

And then the natural mom one is in a Category of it's own. It makes me sick to my stomach. But I keep opening it....

Some are truly fascinating. I think If someone really had a targeted experience and they answer questions with insightful answers we can learn so much! It’s just the fact that every other user decided to post an AMA and they have nothing of concrete value to share.
