Has anyone been to one of these? My husband and I are still deciding if we want to make aliyah, but there is one in our community and we were wondering if it is worthwhile for us to go, given our (lack of) stage in the aliyah process.

I never went to an event like this but I did schedule a one on one meeting when it all seemed like a fantasy for me. I walked into that meeting with my DH and apologized right away for wasting the NbN person's time before we said anything else.
Well fast forward a few years and we are very happily living in Israel.
Remember the lottery slogan "hey, ya never know!"

Just went to one the other day and MOST were not even in the application stage just exploring the idea. I've been researching aliyah like crazy so I knew a lot they shared but still found it valuable. For us it was more of an open session and the questions people asked guided the discussion.
