I'm making inquiries about replacing an old A/C condenser for central A/C system with a heat pump.

If you have one or know someone who does, would you recommend it?
What are the benefits and drawbacks?
Are there rebates or programs that contribute towards the costs?

This is for Rockland, if that makes a difference to the last question.
