What is Chasuna Mall? My daughter just became a kallah and someone mentioned it to us. She's our oldest daughter and we've never made a Chasuna before!

Thank you!

A chasuna mall is a very large store which has most of the things needed to set up an apartment, under one roof.
Furniture, linens, towels, bathroom accessories, all kitchen items besides for large appliances. They also have jewelry & silver for gifts.
It's not necessarily money saving, just more convenient.

It's also not necessarily more convenient since you're restricted into their package- if you want three knives but their package only includes 2, you need to run to the housewares store and get another
It may be a good starting point, depending on what you need
Many people dont need everything they offer

Pros
If your daughter is the type to want everything you have the option of sticking to mall package and not dunno g around to a million stores. You don’t have to argue how many linens sets she needs as they decide. Most things are included in package in some malls although there are those that have ‘upgrades’ on display and you’ll have to pay more if she wants that.
A major plus is they run after the other side for payment.
Cons
does not save you money
(for multiple reasons; a. They give things that are not necessary- think batter dispenser etc. - b. They miss things you might decide are important c. If you decide you don’t like what they have they give you a wholesale price credit when they charge you retail price d. Most stores if you come with a kallah will give you a nice discount while they don’t - these discounts add up (think linen store 20% off etc).
They don’t specialize in anything. A furniture store specializes in furniture and backs it. Same with a linen store etc. Because the mall does everything they don’t specialize in anything.
