All of the activities I’m seeing are water related or boardwalk which DH isn’t going to do. can anyone suggest kosher activities?

What do people who won’t go to a beach or pool do for winter vaca in fl?

Some people go where there's a private pool. There is kayaking, boating, water taxis, restaurants. Jungle Island. Everglades, Seaquarium. Vizcaya. Morikami.

Where can you go kayaking that’s appropriate?

We rented a villa with a private pool that had a privacy fence and hung out there .
Some days we did trips .
I’ve never gone to Miami though , only Orlando.

Haven’t been to FL in more than 15 yrs.

DH doesn’t go to the beach. We go to relax & klutz, we aren't very interested in running around all day. We go out for breakfast & by the time we're done, it's almost 1:00. Then we do a small outing like jungle Island, boat ride, bowling, everglades, atv...... then it's almost time for dinner. We also walk on the walking path that's near the beach but not directly on the beach.

We did Animal Kingdom , The Kennedy Space Center and Sea World (I don’t know if Sea World is as interesting anymore since they changed a lot due to animal cruelty and protection . They no longer have the killer whale show which was a huge highlight etc .)

Cool. Good to know. There’s a lot of controversy around “Shamu” and I was under the impression they stopped having the show . I’m glad it’s still there .

We’ve done lion country safari, Everglades boat tour, ft Lauderdale water taxi, other boat rides, walking around the mall and if you go when it’s in the 60s and you go to a further out beaches (not Miami) it’s empty. We stay in Boca which isn't on the beach so we don't feel like we’re on a beach vacation just a place with better weather and easy minyan and food access.

lol. I live in north Miami Beach. Plenty of them do come! And many live here as well, myself included!

There are day trips like any other neighborhood. There are beautiful parks, arcades, escape rooms, pottery painting, trampoline parks, climbing gyms, etc. All depending on what ages you are looking to entertain. Also, renting a house with a private pool is often a huge draw!

Not yeshivish or chassidish. We go to really quiet beaches where you literally don't see anyone for a few 100 feet.
Bike riding
Trips
Rent a boat.
Always stay in a house with private pool.
