I think it might be from my fabric softener.

How can I eliminate it. It’s all over my fresh clean clothing.

I got a new machine. lg thinq. I hate it for many reasons. My old machine never did this and worked so much better

Run a cycle with hot water and a cup or two of plain white vinegar, no clothes. The vinegar should dissolve the residue. In future, quit using fabric softener, which just coats everything with a layer of chemicals that provide zero benefit, reduce absorbency of the fabric, and are harmful to health. Replace so-called softener with plain white vinegar, which dissolves the traces of detergent residue that make fabrics feel stiff. The vinegar smell vanishes once the fabric dries.

Stop using most additional items to the machine except actual detergent and maybe vinegar.

I use glisten brand washer magic washing machine cleaner. Orange bottle...

Are you following directions for fabric softener? I love my lg but I don't use that stuff. Did you try running a cleaning cycle?

Run the tub clean cycle with nothing it it.
Note that the machine uses just a tiny bit of detergent. Any more will harm the machine. It cleans very well with just a little.

A big repairman told me that you shouldn’t really use fabric softener. But if you do, use about two -three tablespoons worth per load that you need- but try using it sparingly.
