I'm from lakewood. I was not looking to do anything major, but just relax and have a change of scenery. We did Monsey once. We just ate out (but there's the palisades mall that has lots of attractions). We've stayed near Teaneck, ate there and did American dream. We also went to top golf in Edison (which also has kosher food) and stayed in a hotel not far. I'm wondering if there's a nice hotel with any nearby attractions in the 5 town area. Otherwise my next trip I'd do Manhattan. There are stunning hotels and plenty to do, with kosher food and minyan nearby.

We've done similar, there's a hotel near the palisades mall with hot tubs in the room. It was such a nice chilled getaway. Easy food and minyan, plenty to do for a day. We walked around leisurely, Dave n busters, ate out for dinner...
