It certainly doesn’t hurt. I must have entered hundreds though and only won 4 in total

The biggest one is the biggest mostly because it was from a big account with thousands of entries. I won an all-access pass to an online (non-Jewish) culinary course. So it was pretty cool that I won it out of so many more entries

My sister won a diamond necklace last year.

Sure:

Photoshoot - this one fell through because the photographer refused to honor the giveaway. It was worth $450 at the time

Tichels - $50 worth

Doughnuts and lunch - it was a Chanukkah giveaway - I won doughnuts from an expensive shop as well as a gift card to the cafe. It was worth about $100

All access pass to an online culinary school. Worth about $1000 and my favorite one

😅 I never won anything before IG so I find it really exciting to win stuff. But who knows? Hashem clearly put it in my mazel that Instagram is where I win things. Maybe I’ll win something really major one day. I’m doing my hishtadlus by entering 😉

Only if you're bored and not worried about getting addicted. It can be a big time waster

At the beginning, it’s definitely a time waster. Once you’ve been following most frum accounts, you only need to follow a new 5 per giveaway. And I have a list of names to tag prepared on my phone so I just copy paste
