I am a professional hair colorists.
I have worked for sheitel machers in the past plus I have done my own work too. Now I'm looking to expand and get my name out.
I feel like advertising in the local advertisers wont help...
There are quite a few adverts of sheitel machers etc, each week and I feel like my advert will just be "another sheitel advert"
Any ideas?

If there is a sheitel macher that trusts you , ask her if she could send her clients to you.

Hi, I live in the area and would be happy to make you an ad that WILL stand out, for free. Love helping startups here. The idea is to make the advert unique in all respects, ie, no pictures of sheitels, rather an idea based on them, and go with that. LMK.

Advertise! Even if there are many.
When DH started his business he started with just advertising in the local weekly advertiser and has all his clients from there and now from word of mouth. Even though there was the same advert for the 5 yrs we we lived in the area and there are more now he still has loads of work.
We can see the difference on weeks he doesn't advertise.
You can also do a status giveaway/discount and look for WhatsApp groups of your area for advertising.

I recommend getting a sheital macher to try you and then recommend you to her clients.
If you feel comfortable you can share where you are based and some details, my friend just recently asked me if I know of anyone

There are many WhatsApp groups in gg/Hendon for advertising and even a few sheital only chats and advertising
Many are on Instagram
