So baby would be sleeping, and I would be tired, but I couldn't find it myself to relax. My thoughts kept racing and I had a hard time letting go and falling asleep.

When I got treatment for postpartum anxiety it got a lot better

Yes, so much this. I have anxiety as a general rule, so IDK if it would qualify as PPA. I have anxiety and I happen to be PP.

Two nights ago, I ended up putting in an earbud and turned on some ASMR. I was asleep within about 10 mins.

So little known secret, but PPA is just anxiety that happens postpartum. There's not much difference in treatment. And PPA isn't even an official diagnosis that you could bill insurance for.

But like all anxiety, therapy and medication can help a lot. As can self help techniques. It feels good to feel better.
