Boy or girl? Unless he is super skinny, I usually think leggings look silly on boys, but what’s the problem with girls in leggings?

You’re gonna get lots of mixed responses here.
IMHO it depends on how big the kid is. My son is 3 and he’s tiny, still wears 18-24/2t. So he was in leggings all winter and will be wearing short leggings(biker shorts) in summer.
But the kids in his gan who are bigger are wearing regular pants, and in summer I’m assuming regular shorts.

It depends on the child. My son is very petite & does not carry pants. Leggings look like pants on him.
Though he doesn't wear short leggings because that does look a bit silly. He wears pull on shorts from target that are t-shirt fabric.

Nope. Quite the opposite. Here on Ima I'll get hugs and tomatoes but IRL all my friends and neighbors love them too (except for 2 friends and they happen to be sisters lol)

Yes. I have had 3 boys that age and I was a big fan of cat and jacks pull on shorts from target. Or old navy made a similar style. I liked that look much better. But also I have 2 Nov and 1 Dec birthday so when it was really shorts weather they were 3.5 already and by end of summer close to 4. So maybe they were bigger and more kid looking then baby looking.

Also size of child, my son looked stupid in leggings by 2.5 and everyone around was wearing leggings still. I got him the jersey style shorts and cargo shorts.
