I don't have a separate playroom. I do feel like it will make activities like coloring, puzzles, beading etc more enjoyable/ easier/ longer lasting for my 2 year old, and her younger sister will soon be old enough for it too.

I would have space in kids room, or in living room maybe

Do you think it's worth it?

Doesn't hurt to get a cheap set. We just use the table

Yes, definitely worth it for us. My toddlers love it & they use it for everything, including eating.

Same. We have the ikea one. We live in an apt and in the summer I take it out to our path and they eat supper there.

Thanks everyone for weighing in.

Is this the Ikea one? https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/l.....rce=1

The price is right.

Which other ones do you guys have?

Yes as well, was an excellent investment. They can spend much more time there rather than a regular table, they feel like it's their space and they can easily get in and out. Very worth it.

I bought a set when DD was 2. Still use it almost every day and she’s 6! She does homework at that table. My 3 year eats at the toddler table too sometimes.

We loved ours to pieces (literally), but its hard when you're short on space. It was always a tight squeeze for us.

No I have the plastic one. Costs more but easier to clean (which I do twice a day lol. Paint/ food etc) and I find the size more generous because my kids are tall. I can also sit near them on the plastic chairs.

My kids had the Pottery Barn table and chairs in dark wood. It was still in great shape so I gave it to one of my daughters for her toddlers and I always mention that Mommy used it when she was a little girl.

I have the IKEA Latt table and we love it. My toddler is so thrilled with it. He loves to play there, eat there, do crafts, etc. I asked around before buying it and everyone was extremely pro. It's easy to assemble, easy to clean, and doesn't take up too much space (we're in a small apt so we don't have much space to spare, but it works).

I recommend a picnic table over a table & chairs since chairs become a step stool so toddler can climb on counters etc.

We have two benches from Ikea that work very well as a toddler table. Since they have another use, they aren't "taking up space".
Little chairs work with them.

We had a picnic table (little tykes) for 10 years that got daily use. It broke (kids that weren’t so little sitting on it) and then got the ikea plastic table that can fit toddler and elementary aged kids. I’d strongly recommend either type
