I marinated a roast overnight and then baked it all day with the absorbent pad on! I'm so mad because dh helped me and I always check to make sure it's off and he didn't. The pad opened up but I was able to remove all the pieces. Is it safe to eat?

Oh yuck. If you cut off the meat that touched the plastic is that enough? I'm not sure 😕

Hi fellow careless friend. I’ve done this so many times with really expensive cuts of meat 🤦🏻‍♀️ (I know HUGE ditz).

It never opened, though. And I always served it (quickly threw out before anyone saw).
