My ds is off tomorrow since public school will be closed (He goes to a Special Ed school that goes according to the public school).
I work in the office of a Jewish school and will get off/be able to leave early if the students do.
Trying to figure out if I need to make arrangements for ds for tommrow. If my school closes or even lets the students out early, I don't need to make myself crazy figuring out who will watch ds (he's not the easiest to watch...) But if they'll have a full day, I need to work on making other arrangements for ds...
What does it look like ?

Where are you located?? Monsey. Transportation cancelled. None of my kids schools did yet. We will find out tomorrow morning. If we are getting what they said we are there won't be school...

I heard more but I doubt anyone will cancel in brooklyn. Maybe for younger kids

Most of my kids' schools already cancelled because the public schools cancelled and therefore there won't be any transportation tomorrow. One school said they're waiting until the morning to decide but the parents are annoyed because it's hard to make plans last minute.

My kids go to school in the 5 Towns and Queens.

ETA: all cancelled

OP, it depends what area you are in, and why your school might close, (ie because of local weather predictions or based on the weather where the faculty of the school is coming from, if several come from other areas. For instance, if the school where you work is in Brooklyn, but a lot of teachers come in from Long Island, or something, then maybe if Long Island cancels then yours would…Some schools already announced cancellations, but it could be their teachers are coming from areas where there are cancellations, like Monsey. I think by 7am on Tuesday, most schools should know if they are closing, good luck in getting through the day.

Any schools in Brooklyn closed? Snowing a lot here but it doesn't look like its sticking so much.
I will assume that If I don't hear anything from my kids school they're open and have bus as usual..
