Regular bottles as opposed to slow release ones?
Baby is exclusively formula fed

I was told that a feeder should average 5 to 10 minutes regardless of their age or how much they're drinking. So if it's taken longer, move to a faster nipple. Also, obviously if they're getting frustrated you want to size up.
In general, a slower flow is preferred. Think about it, it's not exactly healthy to gulp down your entire meal in 5 minutes. Just because you can doesn't mean you should!

Try 1 size larger and see how baby takes it. Are they spitting up more? Running down chin etc? The you know it's too large

My baby was very frustrated when it was too slow and that made him not get enough formula. He did much better when we went up a number.
