My DD's school had a Kashrus shiur and the speaker told them that the Refreshers are always Kosher.

When you click the link to see the list it says refreshers are not recommended.
Could it be your daughter misunderstood. Always kosher from always unkosher?
@op are there no kosher coffee shops in your area? Why the need to go to a not kosher store?

Refreshers have grape juice. Rabbi Fishbane from the crc told a story about how his BY educated niece told him every one she knew drank them and its why he became a lot more passionate about kashrus education for teens and young people.

He spoke at my school a couple weeks ago and spoke a lot about starbucks and other non kosher places people like to frequent.
Regarding starbucks he said to ONLY get things from the espresso bar so like an espresso or an Americano. A ice latte will depend on the milk the use, he said to always check the bottle they give you from since not everything is kosher. I think he actually said the almond milk does not have a hechsher anymore at all.
He said anything else uses keilim washed together with treif and their dishwasher cycle is very high temperatures (vs he said Dunkins dishwasher cycle is under yad soledes bo so he said it's much easier to be Meikel with Dunkin)
But for sure he said refreshers are 100% treif
You can look up online the CRC and Star K have a list and are very very clear. Otherwise everyone will have what their brother told them they heard was kosher....

We follow him and the occasional starbucks I get is a black americano either hot or iced shots in the cup. I add my own milk. Its boring but cheap and and it meets my needs. Im not super snobby but I really dont love the taste of their coffee.
Iced lattes to me is like coffee with your milk so I dont go for them.

Now I'm thinking maybe she meant Dunkin Refreshers, not Starbucks? Does that exist?

Dunkin' donuts does have refreshers and I know my kosher dunkin' donuts carries them.

Black coffee is not recommended. Only espresso brewed into a disposable cup is recommended.
