Same! I cant sleep in a messy room!! I dont keep anything extra in the room... all clothes go straight into the hamper ( We have a 2 sectional in the corner of the room) and reading material neatly on the night table... Trying to think what mess ppl have?? Aside for laundry maybe?

I spend so much time cleaning the rest of the house that sometimes I’m too tired to deal with my room. I don’t have a lot of cleaning help. Nothing in my room is gross, no food or anything just sometimes there’s piles of clothes etc

My room is where the computer and desk is and there is a garbage can next to the desk but still there are coffee cups water bottles that seem to elude the can. Also laundry and my toddler will bring in a toy while DH is working. So it can easily accumulate. It gets a deep clean on Sundays and I try to straighten up a few nights a week. But it doesnt stay immaculate.

I actually heard a shalom bayis shiur that spoke about the master bedroom being a special place and to do everything you can to keep it inviting and beautiful etc...
idk since then I try somewhat to keep it clear but its hard!! beds are for sure always made but there can be clutter on the dresser

This is such a great question!
I often go to sleep with stuff not organized and things on the floor. When I do, I feel terrible about myself! I feel like I'm cheating or something, like getting away with some big secret.
Glad the secret is out:D
