Are you sure it was in the Ami? I don’t recall seeing such a recipe but the circle had overnight lukshen kugel recipe last week. In any case I wanted to save it but dumped it by mistake so I’m following here

You should've asked an hour ago. Just threw it out. My family didn't like it. Also I tried it 2x. The first time the top got too burned. Leave it on the higher temperature for less then what they say when you get it.

Apparently I threw out older circle,I just found this. Let me know if u make it and how it came out
40 oz thin egg noodles
9 cups boiling water
1 cup oil
3 tsp black pepper
2 tablespoons salt
3 cups brown sugar
6 eggs
Preheat oven to 350
Place noodles into a large bowl
Add boiling water and let sit for 2 minutes
Mix noodles so that the water covers it and let sit for 10 min
Add rest of ingredients mix well
Put into 4 greased large loaf pans
Bake uncovered 1.5 hours.
Cover with foil
Place 9x13 half filled with water on the bottom shelf of oven
Lower temperature to 225 and bake 10-12 hours

Didn't love how this came out. It wasn't soft and fluffy more rubbery. I think cuz the lukshen is not boiled separately.
