Why can’t a package of chicken be put down on a counter? Where DO you put packages of chicken when you’re about to use them?

I place them on a garbage bag because I prepare one to use as my workspace.

I don't understand those people that try calling you 3x in a row. If you don't answer the phone the first time there's a good reason for it.

How people wear shoes in the house. Goodness knows what we step into on the street or in public bathrooms.

I don't understand how people are late to pick up their child from morah. You know playgroup ends at 3, why are you showing up at 3:07?
(Once in a while due to traffic or emergency is not what I'm talking about)

For the same reason the door opens @ 9:47. Two minutes late in the morning Is a lot
If playgroup starts at 9:45, the door should be open at 9:40. So drop-off can happen 9:45, after schlepping up the stairs

I don't understand how people can be more focused on having a neat house than on the stress it puts on their family members to keep it neat. If it's in the way or unsanitary, for sure. But just so it looks neat? I don't get it.

On a macro level, I don't understand form over function.

I'm personally always on time because I understand the parents should be able to drop off on time just like I want them to pick up on time.

I don’t understand people who care where I put my chicken. My counter is clean. If you don’t like it don’t eat at my house.

So I actually don't get the outrage over shoes in the house.

Do you eat from, play on, or lick the floors? Do you walk around barefoot? I don't, and neither do my kids. So why does it matter that my shoes are on the floor?

My crawling baby lives in the floor. Even licks it. And yes, I want to be able to walk barefoot without getting black feet. I want to sit on the floor and play with my kids without it feeling gritty . Is it that hard to park one's shoes at the door and change into house shoes? Easier than washing the floors, which I need to do less often.( I won't ask guest to do that. I'm talking about whoever lives in my house. )

Why can you understand tissues (which can cause plumbing issues, BTW) but not toilet paper?

What is it you are doing with this toilet paper that makes it "impossible to work with?" 🤔

Why can't a closed package of chicken go on the counter?
