I bought parmesan cheese about 2 weeks ago and I want to use it tomorow. is it still good? I kept it in the fridge and never opened it yet. I see now an expiration date of july something, I think last week. anyone use parmesan cheeese ever and know how to tell if its ok?

as long as there is no moisture in the package it should last a long time if there is any mold just cut it off....

I wouldn't normally use it past the expiration date, but it does last for a lonnng time in the fridge.

There are generally 3 different types of Parmesan cheese... cheese that's been aged 2, 4 and 6 years.
Unless of course you bought the commercial stuff already grated in a bottle...
