Garlic Confit- I peel a few heads of fresh garlic, put the individual cloves into a small pan cover with some light olive oil, Sprinkle some dried rosemary. Bake covered on 300 for about an hour or hour and half.
It's yum with sourdough challah!

I made my husband sourdough challah for the first time in my life. I’d help give the recipe, but a friend helped me through it.

Trying a new recipe from a Greek cookbook - meatballs with rice and parsley in lemon broth.

It'll be a Persian fusion dish because I'm making crispy tadig rice to go with it!

Can you post the recipe please?
I’m really not feeling well, I think I’m going to leave the cooking to my husband. I usually make vegetable sides, dips, etc. but I think this week I’m just going to make chicken soup. He will make kugel, fish, meat, cholent, schnitzel….

Sounds delicious!!! Invite me!!!
I'm staying traditional: chicken soup, chicken and kugel...

I do the same roasted garlic as imamother above but I buy bag of peeled garlic from Costco that I keep in my freezer. I sprinkle some brownulated sugar... super delicious AND easy!!
Babaganush: eggplant cooked in microwave I add salt, pepper lemon juice and olive oil.(optional: some cumin) Blend with stick .
