Are you in Lakewood? Read the BP weekly. I’ve noticed an explosion of advertisements with budget shoes. And they all have locations which means you can try on and get fitted

Lakewood shoe gemach in Westgate

There's also a sale from the shoe gemach at 49 Jules CT. New shoes are $5/ slightly used $1(hit or miss, place is very neglected but I've found shoes there!!)
