Yes a mudroom! I don't know why but I assumed op had a pesach kitchen.
Op, you mentioned 3 bathrooms, even if you can make 2 full bathrooms, and 1 just the toilet that would be great I have just a toilet on my main floor and it's the most used in the entire house.

Two, but we have a bunch of bathrooms on other floors as well. We have or are thinking about some other ideas here but good food for thought thank you!

Yes! I call our snug room my meditation room 😂 I'm actually hardly in there! No time, and when I do have time I'm on my kitchen couch with my toddler/other kids.

Your room (office, lounge whatever)
Big master bath w heated tiles and towel warmer, Separate tub and shower, double sinks
His and her closets
Master suite
Guest room w bathroom
Laundry where bedrooms are. With hanging contraptions and height appropriate countertop to fold laundry.
Wrap around deck With outdoor kitchen and safe roof.
Cozy reading nooks/library
Mini obstacles course and playground in playroom. I did this in the old garage. (It's insulated and nicely fixed up but not connected to the heating/cooling) we have a net enclosed 7 ft trampoline, med kiddi slide, old couch (trampoline#2) baby push n ride car bikes, cozy coop.... want to put in a swing now too. Maybe for next winter.
It's AMAZING for the Littles (and not such littles) for the wintertime when they need to let out some steam but it's too cold to be outside.
My laundy is also there so I'll do laundry or pull out my iron and iron while kids are having a blast behind me.
A girl can dream!!! | this sounds amazing!! Signed, mother of a handful of toddlers bh in a small two bedroom apart who’s been slowly losing more and more of ber mind as the never ending winter drags out

My dream is my own room off my bedroom with a couch, a desk, a coffee station like a private suite.

This is interesting . My DH and kids know that if we were to ever renovate or do an extension that I would be getting my own private room, with lots of natural light , to do crafts , hobbies, read, put my feet up, meditate, chill out etc.
DH has no desire to have such a thing . My boys and DH are happy with a man cave in the garage .

I'm confused
Where else would a washer/dryer be? assuming you live in a big enough house that they're not in the kitchen for lack of space..?

Forgive my ignorance but is a mudroom what it sounds like?

Many people put them in the basement due to lack of space on the 2nd floor.

As the mother of a lot of girls, I want a large sink area outside of the bathroom so they can do all their stuff while someone is using the bathroom or taking a shower.

A second bathroom on the main floor for kids so I always have a clean bathroom near the front door for guests
We have a laundry room upstairs but I'd LOVE another little closet on the main floor with a stackable washer dryer for towels and swimming gear.
Besides for a playroom, another big family room with built in desks and bookshelves
Walk in pantry
Guest suite on the main floor
Office for me and office/study for dh
Bathroom in the basement so my clients don't need to go upstairs for the bathroom (doesn't always happen but on the rare occasion...)
Pesach kitchen!!! On the main floor would be great!
I'm dreaming lol...

I'm also thinking of doing this. Do you know around how much it will cost? How much of an addition are you planning?

I would love a Pesach kitchen. Another bathroom. Another bedroom. Somehow put a playroom on ground level. I mean this is all dreams, right? We have the office/man cave. If it wasn't that we might have turned it into a lego room or Pesach kitchen already. The sink outside the bathroom area sounds nice. Whenever someone is in the shower the others are busy banging on the door for tooth brushing and other things kept in there. Obstacle course/indoor sensory room sounds amazing.
